GFS AUTUMN NEWSLETTER – 2020

Our new GFS Gas Flex Systems catalogue was launched last month! LONDON PLUMBING & HEATING GFS is delighted to announce London Plumbing and Heating Supplies are now a stockist of GFS products, adding to our growing list of partners supplying the trade! Branches can be found at: Ley St IG2, Barking Rd E6, Hackney Rd E2 & Moorland Rd IG1 E. TUPLING GFS has also partnered with E. Tupling to become a GFS distributor. This is an exciting development, as E. Tupling have just moved into their new and larger distribution warehouse in Warrington. Situated just off the M62, they are in a great location to service merchant customers across the north of England with their first class delivery vehicle service, as well as offering a new click and collect option. (more details to follow). As part of our ongoing support to both our distribution and stockist partners we will shortly be receiving our first supply of counter display/training cases. The cases will contain samples of both GFS CSST and GFS PLUS, our pipe in pipe pre sleeved CSST. This is an ideal way for our partners to display and demonstrate our great product! EVENTS Despite the Covid 19 restrictions we have been trying to conduct business as usual, whilst adhering to social distancing rules. Recently, product demonstration mornings have taken place at Plumbase Hove, Orpington and Tunbridge Wells. These product demonstrations all complied with Government guidelines, taking place just outside the business premises. With the above in mind, our Regional Technical Manager, Dan, took this one step further by conducting a new product meeting with Plumbase, Hickstead on the golf course! This allowed an open air meeting, complete with social distancing…what could be better and safer? If you would like a product demonstration on GFS products, and in particular our CSST, we can work with you to ensure this is carried out safely and securely in line with current Covid 19 regulations. MEET THE TEAM We are blessed to have a talented and extremely knowledgeable workforce here at GFS. On each of our quarterly newsletters we would like to introduce you to some of the key players within the GFS gas flex systems family. This time around it is the turn of Steven Newey, our dynamic Sales Director. Steve joined GFS Gas Flex Systems in May 2018, and since his appointment the brand has gone from strength to strength! Steve is responsible for all of the sales and marketing operations at GFS, including managing our sales team. Steve is an expert on every aspect of all GFS products, there is nothing this man does not know! Why not find out for yourself by reading his recent interview on GFS and GFS products. PRODUCT NEWS GFS will shortly be receiving their first batch of rubber lined clips, which is an additional new stock line to the GFS product portfolio. We have two versions of the clip, the standard rubber lined clip, as well as an easy clip locking system version. All sizes are available up to 6”. We have an exciting new addition to our CSST fittings available soon, can anyone guess what it will be? GFS will also be launching their own patented CSST lever ball valve, meaning the GFS CSST system will be the only manufacturer with this type of valve available. Most recently GFS has added many additional coil lengths to their CSST pipe, including 15m and 45m. In addition to this our contractor kits will shortly include DN32 sizes.
