Earlier this year Excel supplied a new Axomatic 1000 tube filling machine in to contract packing company Cake Décor of Scotland to fill their full range of cake decoration fondants and icings. The ability to have very quick change overs and the back up and parts service supplied by Excel in partnership with Axomatic is the reason Managing Director Bill Donnelly choose to purchase the Axomatic Optima 1000.Bill Donnelly says “At Cake Décor we offer a full contract packing service to the bakery industry and working with Excel we were able to install a complete packaging line as a turnkey project with metal detection and check weighers to complete our line.
