NEW COMPACT LAMINATE COLUMN CASINGS EXTEND ENCASEMENT’S RANGE

A new range of decorative compact laminate column casings has been launched by Peterborough based, Encasement, which extends its existing pre-formed plywood and metal ranges to provide architects, contractors and specifiers with a durable, tough and highly versatile solution for concealing interior structural columns. As the new ‘Lamina’ range is manufactured from high-pressure compact laminate, they are particularly well suited for use in high traffic areas and are already installed in retail centres, public buildings and leisure areas due to their high strength and durability as well as excellent moisture, fire and wear resistance. Lamina casings can be formed into virtually any column casing shape including circles, squares and rectangles as well as special ellipses and other custom designs, while their inherent strength and rigidity enables them to be installed with minimal structural support, making them ideal for applications with large vertical spans. A wide range of colour options is are available, which include standard solid colours, patterned and print finishes, while custom colours and finishes are also available to meet specific project requirements.
