Advanced leaf area meter + perimeter, length, width, object count and more
Measures healthy, diseased and pest-damaged area
Optional conveyor for high throughput
Choice of camera or scanner systems
Ideal for phenotyping based research
The WinDIAS leaf area measurement system can measure percentage diseased leaf area, making it ideal for plant pathology, agronomy, plant physiology and forestry.
Delta-T Devices was one of the first companies to develop leaf imaging technology for disease area estimation with a forerunner of WinDIAS leaf area meter being launched in the early 1980's. With the latest updated WinDIAS 3 Leaf Image Analysis System we have built on our expertise and made use of newly available camera technology to improve image quality, ease of use, and general performance.
WinDIAS software functionality has been enhanced with WinDIAS 3. It is now possible to import images from other devices (scanners, digital cameras, even webcams - although image quality will affect accuracy). It is now also possible to analyse multiple images of the same leaf/disease to create a virtual conveyor system - analysing 100 leaf images in minutes. Disease picking has also been enhanced with three user-defined thresholds available.
WinDIAS system options
Whether the need is for simple leaf area measurements or for a powerful, automated analysis system, researchers can specify a WinDIAS leaf area meter system that suits their particular requirements.
