All crimp terminals are supplied with paper linings. Crimp terminals, end sleeves and cable eyelets are used for solderless cable connections: End sleeves are standardized in accordance with DIN 46228 part 1 – 4. They are used to prevent individual wires of stranded conductors from fraying, e.g. when mounted to a terminal block. Insulated end sleeves have a plastic flange to prevent the conductor being touched. Ring terminals and cable eyelets are suitable for direct contacting of a cable with a screw. Tabs and receptacles are standardized in accordance with DIN 46247 part 1 – 3, DIN 46343 and DIN 46346, and are used – just as round plug pins and bushings – for detachable plug connections. All parts listed comply to EC directives 2000/53/EC (end-of-life vehicles), 2002/95/EC (ROHS), and 2003/11/EC, and are supplied in accordance with the requirements of DIN ISO 9001:2000.
