At first the firm only produced simple car air pumps (the name "ALUP" refers to the German combined phrase "Auto-Luft-Pumpen" for "car air pump").The start-up with screw compressor technology began in1980 with a complete program of 4-400 kW motor drive performance.The ALUP name rapidly became a synonym for quality in the compressed air industry due to continuous innovations and the proven reliability of its products. Since 2000 ALUP belongs to the ABAC Group, which is active in global markets the world over.
