The LD64-2 has been designed to continuously monitor up to 64 areas for water leaks throughout a building. Taking over from the 32 zone LD32 system, water is detected from water pipes, air conditioning, roofs, drainage pipes etc. using detection cable and or spot probe sensors. Consisting of an alarm unit fitted with a large touch screen display and a number of remote outstations, areas to be monitored can be over 300 metres away from the main alarm unit or further if a power booster is used. Outstations can be configured as 1, 2, 3 or 4 zones, depending upon the application and have "Test" alarm push buttons, alarm - fault indicating lights and common alarm (only outstation zones) SSR output for onward signalling. Outstations can also be fitted with an additional PCB requiring a 230VAC supply to operate water shutoff valves to stop a leak causing further damage.The unit can be configured to monitor between 33 and 64 zones with only the fitted zones being displayed on the main screen i.e. only 45 zones fitted, only 45 zones will be displayed.
