UPDATED STATEMENT REGARDING COVID-19 OUTBREAK

We are focused on maintaining business as usual We wanted to reassure all our customers that Cherwell Laboratories remains fully operational and is focused on maintaining business as usual, whilst also working hard to minimise the risks for our employees. The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and new variant is of great concern; however, the promise of mass vaccination offers reassurance for the Spring. Back in March 2020 we instigated various protective measures such as: Restricting visitors to site Increasing availability of hand sanitisers Introduced additional cleaning around site Minimised communal area touch points Regularly sharing information with employees around identifying symptoms Continued to reinforce the importance of good hygiene practices and social distancing However, we recognise that COVID-19 will continue to impact our business, staff and communities for some time yet and to mitigate this we continue to: Deploy home working where possible and practical Make use of some flexibility within our workforce who are cross trained Focus on critical tasks Cancel all non-essential business travel and meetings Our supply chains appear to be quite robust and ongoing dialogue with many of our key suppliers has confirmed that they have robust contingency plans in place. We recognise we are a small piece in an important supply chain which ultimately serves patients and our existing continuity planning had already identified actions we can take, such as ensuring we retain suitable stock reserves of critical raw materials and finished goods. We will continue to follow government advice and use this information to update our contingency planning and actions.
