Denny Bros invests into their 4th Avelair compressor

A leading global labelling and printing company based in Suffolk have upgraded their two older fixed speed Avelair compressors to the latest Avelair variable speed compressor in a drive to further reduce their energy consumption.

Denny Bros,located in Bury St Edmunds, have been using Avelair fixed and variable speed air compressors for over 15 years at their Suffolk Production Facility.  Further to the Avelair team conducting a comprehensive energy survey of their existing compressed air system it was proposed to replace their two fixed speed air compressors with an additional high effiency Variable Speed Avelair Air Compressor to further reduce their carbon emmissions and associated electrical costs.  The British built Avelair VSD rotary screw air compressor uses an integrated inverter drive to ramp the motor speed in response to air demand ensuring optimum energy efficiency,  This differs to a fixed speed compressor where there is wasted energy when it runs off load not producing compressed air when there is variable demand on site.

The existing plant is located on the roof of the Factory and hence Crowland Cranes were called in to crane the new air compressor into location whilst also removing the two older compressors.
