Find The Needle Add My Company
. Racking Inspection for non destructive scanning

Archive and Document Scanning was approached by a racking safety inspection company in Hertford to digitise their inspection manuals. The PDF manuals could then be emailed to inspectors based in offices all over the UK.

As the customer wanted the manuals to remain intact, Archive and Document Scanning offered our book scanning service, which enables the manuals to be scanned to pdf files without taking them apart.

Each pdf image was checked and cropped to remove the binding from the image and to ensure the image was clear and unblemished.

Once the project was finished the images were transferred to an encrypted USB memory stick and returned to the customer by hand along with the original manuals.

The Archive and Document Scanning book scanning process can remove the curvature of the page, created by the arching of the binding, to produce a flattened image without distortions. Additionally, further straightening of the page and removal of marks is possible. This non-destructive technique enables your journals, books and manuals to be returned to you undamaged. Please contact us if you would like further information or to discuss your project.

The customer was very impressed by our service that he gave Archive and Document Scanning a very good review on our Google business page.
