Fire risk assessment
The Fire Safety Order 2005 (FSO), which replaces or amends all previous fire regulations, requires the responsible person for all non-domestic premises in England and Wales to carry out a fire safety risk assessment and implement and manage a fire safety plan. The main objectives of risk assessment and management are to; 1.evaluate the risk of the fire occurring; 2.evaluate the risk to people from a fire starting in the premises; 3.remove and reduce the hazards that may cause a fire; and 4.remove and reduce the risks to people from a fire.
