Chrome is deposited in metallic form from an electrolyte, often in combination with copper and nickel (Cu-Ni-Cr coatings). In many cases, the surface is pre-treated by polishing or grinding. Aalberts surface treatment produces bright chrome, matt chrome and black chrome coatings.
