Leading the way with innovative fire protection solutions:
With PFLITSCH cable glands you are playing it safe!
In the railway industry, the focus is more than ever on the optimum fire protection on railway vehicles. The current fire protection standards EN 45545-2 and EN 45545-3 have been in force since the middle of 2013.
PFLITSCH has had approved products available since 2012 and was the first cable gland manufacturer in Germany to fulfil the requirements of the new standards. The sealing material T80s, which can be used for the series UNI Dicht®, blueglobe® as well as the splittable systems UNI Split Gland®. UNI Flange® and UNI Flange® HD, conforms with the highest requirements, hazard level HL3, of the EN 45545-2 for unrestricted use in trains – whether on open lengths of track, in tunnels or in stations.
The PFLITSCH fire protection film provides the detail on this issue:
New and only at PFLITSCH: the split cable gland systems UNI Split Gland®, UNI Flange® and UNI Flange® HD with their proven fire protection sealing inserts fulfil the fire resistance test in accordance with EN 45545-3. These cable glands even allow preassembled cables to be used in these areas.
