Our range of metallic coated high-strength steels includes micro alloyed, interstitial-free and bake hardening grades.
Ideal for applications requiring high strength and good formability. Due to their single-phase microstructures, properties are very consistent. This results in reliable production processes.
Overview
Applications
Our high-strength steels are used for both:
interior (unexposed) parts
exterior (exposed) parts
Microalloyed (HSLA) steels are used solely for structural reinforcements, crash absorption components and brackets. Applications include
front longitudinal
roof cross beams
floor panels
Phosphorus alloyed interstitial-free steels and bake hardening steels are used mainly for exposed body panels that require good formability in combination with high strength for dent resistance. Applications include:
hoods
roofs
doors
