Our equipment is portable and can be brought to your site to refurbish valves in-situ. There is no need to remove large valve bodies from position and break the flange joints. We refurbish, maintain and test the following isolation valves: Globe - Parallel Slide - Wedge Gate - Knife Gate - Ball - Butterfly - Non-return - Twin Seal. Frequent routine maintenance extends valve life cycles on fluid handling systems. Passing valves, seized valves, leaking packing and broken spindles are becoming increasingly common. Seetru Engineering Services provide tailored solutions for your requirements and inventory management, providing reliable services and ensuring minimal plant downtime. Lapping: Our sealing face grinding system produces perfectly flat and excellent surface finishes. This system eliminates leakage across the valve when isolating in-service. This technique can be applied either with the valve still in place or in either of our fully equipped workshops. Reverse Engineering: When replacing unserviceable spares the standard policy is to use OEM parts, wherever available; however, we understand that long lead-times can cause disruption to operations. Our design team and extensive machine shop have the capability to design and reverse engineer component parts to shorten turnaround times if required. Seat Reclamation: Eroded or pitted seats can be restored to original dimensions by adding like for like or upgraded materials. Testing: Seat Leakage Test - Flow rates/bubble rates measured and recorded. Hydrostatic body test - ensure packing is correct and no leaks are evident. Dye Penetrant NDT of castings. All defects photographed and documented.
