Health & Safety Training Courses The regulatory reform order 2005 requires that the responsible person (Article 3) appoints sufficient competent persons (Article 18) to assist with the provision of general fire precautions for the workplace and to ensure that they are, and remain, suitably trained (Article 21). To enable you to continue to provide the required standard of fire safety measures for your workplace, Blupax training now provides courses on a variety of fire safety courses ranging from: • Fire Fighting & Safety Team Training (Theory & Practical) Aim: To introduce delegates to the principles of combustion and spread of fire & demonstrate the application of a fixed water spray projection system in tackling a substantial fuel fire. • Industrial Fire Team Training (Basic Course) Aim: To provide underpinning knowledge and basic skills for Fire Team nominees in the principles of Fire Science, Fire Fighting Equipment and Operational Procedures. To assess the level of achievement of nominees throughout the course and by final formal assessment, and subject to meeting the specified standard to facilitate their progression as Fire Team members. • Fire Team Leader Course Aim: To provide nominated Fire Team Leaders with skills in functional leadership in order to effectively assess incidents, establish action plans and control the actions of Fire Team members.
