ISO9001:2008 Approval for Precision Test Systems

Precision Test Systems, a leading manufacturer of frequency standards and distribution amplifiers is pleased to announce it has just been awarded ISO9001:2008 quality standard. Martyn Smith, managing director of Precision Test Systems said “2009 has been a record year for us. Sales have increased 25% despite tough trading conditions. To help with this expansion, we have moved our production into larger premises. This, together with increased personnel, has meant keeping tabs on our quality is more important than ever. We decided to go for ISO9001 to show our customers we are committed to customer service and quality.” Precision Test Systems make some of the worlds most accurate frequency and timing references, including OXCO oscillators, rubidium oscillators etc. We also make and install frequency distribution systems with outputs of 1 to 1000. Because we make one of the industries lowest phase noise distribution amplifiers, we can still provide a low phase noise, accurate frequency output to a whole factory or even a plant with multiple buildings. Many of the world’s satellite tracking stations and observatories are using our systems. Also our frequency references are used by many universities in their physics department.
