Shot Blasting Paint Removal

NSP Coatings Ltd offer chilled iron grit shot blasting for items upto 8.5m x 4m x 4m to Sa 2.5 standard the removal of paint, rust & scale on mild steel and iron components. We also undertake light blasting for aluminium coatings including castings and stainless steel prior to painting. Our shot blast facilities are also available to local metal finishers for sub-contract work. Chilled iron grit is used generally as a preparation for powder but also has a range of other applications: Surface preparation for powder coating, painting, enamelling & electroplating Cleaning of castings and forgings Cleaning of welded areas Typical applications for shot blasting include gates, railings, motorbike parts through to large structural beams, channels and ironwork. Shot blasting is the ideal pretreatment for powder coating of both new components as well as previously coated items.
