A sneak peek behind the scenes of our Nomads Classics campaign shoot.

One of the most rewarding parts of our creative team’s job is when our new collections come together for the first time ready to be photographed for our look books. To physically see the range within an environment outside of the studio finalises all of our colleague’s hard work and adds a natural buzz of excitement which resonates between the team. We thought we would show you what happens behind the scenes on location and introduce some of our talented creative team. Meet our model Fran who now lives and works mainly in New York. Our photographer is Simon, who we adore and have used for many seasons and our wonderful make-up artist is Kate who travels all the way to deepest darkest Cornwall from up North for our lifestyle shoots. As you can see, the trio make a fabulous team and always make time for mischief in between outfit changes and tea drinking. Next to Fran we have our two fabulous directors, Vicky and Duncan. They always get stuck in with our photoshoots and supply the tea and biscuits. In between Simon and Kate is our brilliant Senior designer Kate who has the most incredible eye for detail and doesn’t miss a trick. Here we were shooting the close ups for all of the classic collection so that all the backgrounds are the same for our website. We had to have a marker for Fran as her feet just wanted to wander! Kate and Simon worked very hard and checked everything thoroughly to ensure they were happy with how all the garments looked on location. With Kate’s styling and Simon’s skills, this whimsical Classic collection came alive. Introducing our four key pieces for your summer wardrobe; Our tiered classic skirt in crinkle cotton. With a soft jersey waistband that can be rolled and worn as you like. Nomads baggy harem style trousers are the perfect balance between style and comfort and have a stretch jersey waistband for a cosy fit. Our two essential summer kaftan blouses with pretty swirl embroidery on cool crinkle cotton, with lovely notch neck detail and side slits. They are perfect beach cover ups that come in 2 lengths and can also be worn over leggings or trousers. On the second day of the shoot we were blessed with fantastic sunshine and lunch outside. Vicky and Duncan fed us home grown veggies and quiche so that we could whizz through the last few hours of the editorial. We had an extremely successful shoot, the location was outstanding, the team bounced ideas off of each other and we are so excited to show this collection to you.
