The LFSP and FSP Connector Plate

Field Splice Plates are used in situations where the general height of a truss is too much for the safe transportation of the truss. The plates allow for the cap of the truss to be site fixed using nails through pre drilled holes in the connector plate. The number and type of nail used in the connection is important and will be specified by the truss manufacturer when the trusses are made.
