Surtec 650 is a hexavalent chromium-free passivate for aluminium, fulfilling the requirements of ELV, RoHS and WEEE. It also works on alloyed and cast aluminium and satisfies the requirements of MIL-DTL-81706B and MIL-DTL-5541F. It is a liquid concentrate based on Trivalent Chromium and is suitable as a conversion coating for Magnesium. Fantastic bare corrosion protection comparable to Hexavalent Chromium.
