Rh Measurement in ATEX Zone 1 by Cable Mounted Probe

The HygroClip IC is designed for use in an ATEX zone 1 area. Two configurations are available for flexibility: 1. A remote mounted probe is connected to the sensor enclosure via cable. In this configuration a 4 to 20 mA signal can be obtained directly from the instrument. This can be connected to a data acquisition or building management system, mounted in a safe area via the ZB1-420 zener barrier. The system can be pre-configured to supply the output in terms of rh, or temperature. 2. Alternatively, the sensor can be connected to the ZB1 zener barrier in a safe area and communicate with a HTS transmitter. This can provide a display and the ability for the user to configure the two analogue outputs (humidity and temperature). The humidity output may be configured for rh, dew point or one of many psychrometric scales. Two digital outputs RS232 and RS485 are also present.
