HRB Hexagon Rivet Bushes have an acute angle machined towards the spigot that creates sharp points at the corners of the hexagon body. When the bush is set these sharp points penetrate the surface of the sheet thus providing resistance to rotational torque loads. Retention in the sheet is secured by the spigot being flared on the opposite side. Hexagon rivet bushes are available in Steel self colour and plated or Stainless Steel and in some cases Brass and Aluminium subject to special order provided the quantities are large enough to warrant material purchase and machine set up costs.
