Power unit type PBC

Hägglunds’ PBC power unit is an open-frame power unit for use in North America. Though functionally interchangeable with the more common PAC unit, it stands only half as high and comes without the sound-insulating panels. Because of its construction, the PBC unit offers size and cost advantages that make it popular in certain applications. For example, the PBC unit can often be found in shredders and other recycling applications, where cutting costs may be more important than reducing noise.
