Hägglunds’ Marathon hydraulic motor is a giant compared to other hydraulic motors – not only when it comes to size, but also when it comes to performance. By far the largest hydraulic motor in the world, Marathon is specially engineered for extreme, high-torque applications. It was originally designed for replacing large gearbox drives on continuous industrial plant as the name suggests to give long reliable life. It is available in many sizes from around 12 lt/rev to 250 lt/rev displacements all rated at 350 bar. Despite its heavy-duty design and intimidating size, the Marathon motor range offers excellent controllability and resistance to shock loads. As a result, it lets you handle large, dusty, corrosive and explosive applications with unexpected finesse. Even in extreme heat or freezing cold, a Marathon drive provides years of reliable service.
