Hägglunds control and monitoring systems are the nerve centre of our drive systems. They provide valuable information and essential functions, giving you the means to make both long-term and split-second decisions. The majority of our control systems are based on our Spider, a flexible and programmable control unit that provides seamless communication between our drives and your applications. However, we can also tailor-make larger installations, in which a PLC is often the focal point for a whole network of control and monitoring systems. The Spider can be mounted in or on the power unit or alternatively away from the unit or as an operator panel since full functionality is available on the button pad on the panel front. The Spider can be operated with remote signals and has options for BUS control, remote monitoring via a modem. System digital and analogue signals are logged to enable interogation to aid service and troubleshooting activities
