Brakes are essential for many customer operations particularly in marine applications like winches, which is why Hägglunds offers a full range of high-performance brakes both band brake and enclosed multi disc brakes for emergency and parking functions. Designed to work perfectly with our drives, our brakes are specifically adapted for each motor type or specialised need. Our brakes are rugged and robust designed to be fatigue-resistant brakes and with classification society type approval. They can be mounted directly to the hydraulic motor or separately for example at the opposite end of the winch to save space.
