Pattern recognition means safe sample placement

The new pattern recognition feature on all FISCHERSCOPE® X-RAY instruments with programmble XY tables allows samples to be positioned safely even in difficult conditions. Exact placement of difficult samples like Plug contacts on printed circuit boards, Connectors and SMD components is now much more reliable. The Software WinFTM® stores an image detail (pattern) and searches for it during the measurement. It then readjusts the XY table position, so that the pattern will be found and the measurement will be performed at the correct position. The advantages are clear – there is a reduction of the operator influence during positioning of the samples and a reduction of the influence of dimensional tolerance of the samples.
