One of the easiest and most often over looked it the heat proof tape and rubbers that sandwich the film against the heat sealing blade once this starts to burn the sealer requires more heat so the operator turns up the heat that burns the tape and on and on it goes until the seal is such a poor quality that the film will not shrink as required. Then the heat tunnel gets turned up because the shrink wrapped product does not look good making the chains go dry that can cost hundreds to repair.
