The Berry Spring Steel Buffa range of products has been independently tested for vehicles ranging from 1.5 tonnes to 40 tonnes impacting at up to 10mph (4.5 m/sec). As a basic rule, any barrier dealing with Heavy Goods Vehicles should be at least 760mm high from ground level (900mm if dealing with reversing trucks) and with post centres no more than 1600mm apart.
