Loupot changes its name to Axon' Mechatronics

Loupot, the subsidiary of the French Interconnect group Axon’ Cable, officially announces its change of name to Axon’ Mechatronics. This evolution has 2 objectives: enhance its visibility on a worldwide level and focus on its core business in mechatronics. Expert in mechatronics This was in 1969 that two engineers Tetsuro Mori and Er. Jiveshwar Sharma invented the word «Mechatronics». The term concerns products which include electronics, plastics and metal engineering. Axon’ Mechatronics has the advantage of integrating under one roof the main technologies of micro-mechanics: plastics, mechanics, electronics components assembly and automated process assembly. This change of name will enable Axon’ Mechatronics to enhance its expertise in this market. The Mechatronics business, especially micro-mechatronics, is booming worldwide. It comes from the increasing requirements in connected objects, the development of digital devices in automotive for power management and from the growing market in telemedicine, etc. In order to be ready for its future growth, Axon’ Mechatronics has increased its plant surface in Quimper by 3000 m² and will proceed to recruit a further 20 engineers and technicians.
