Rapid prototyping: time saving Axon’ engineers are mainly using the 3D printer to manufacture connector prototypes in order to validate a technical solution or check its space requirement. Miniaturized mock-up products manufactured at scale 1 or enlarged several times offer an excellent basis to train new colleagues or give explanations to customers. The assembly workshops are using 3D printers to quickly create tools to help with production, such as cabling boards or modeling templates. Upon receipt of a specific technical data package including drawings, specifications, prescribed bill of materials, Axon' Cable will review and process the package to manufacture cable assemblies or harnesses in a very short time. With manufacturing sites in Europe, North America and Asia and a comprehensive range of quality approvals, Axon' is able to locally design and build interconnect solutions.
