Case Studies - British Gas

We were engaged in April 2014 by Computacentre, a prime contractor to Centrica/British Gas, to survey all their AV installations in 39 offices as far apart as Staines and Edinburgh. This involved examining every BG screen in each room on each site, tagging all items and then taking pictures of each screen and surrounding location, often up to 3 images per asset. This involved a good deal of post project data manipulation. Not only did BG obtain an up to date asset register of some valuable equipment, we surveyed nearly 1400 separate screens, almost double the inventory that BG thought they had! All records were published on our web based tracking platform, APOnline, so that the details could be shared instantly among many BG departments.
