Studer S22

The Studer S22 is a production platform and not just a machine. It focuses on medium-sized customer work pieces in large-scale production. The aim is being able to machine any work piece on the S22 by utilizing a wide range of technologies: cylindrical grinding in a production environment, form and thread grinding, high-speed grinding (HSG) with cutting speeds between 80 and 140 m/s or heavy-duty applications with 160mm wide grinding wheels are all possible. The S22 is a further development of the proven S32 and S36 and features various technical highlights, such as linear drives, possibility of automation on both sides or from above or for interlinking, outstanding clarity (status control) and accessibility for operation and service.
