Working in many industries we are BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered and in many instances work to QS9000 standards. We have comprehensive testing facilities available which include Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, Micro Vickers and portable hardness testing facilities. In addition samples can be cut, ground and mounted for microscopic examination. The company continues to expand and steadily grow and as such takes advantage of both traditional and new technologies; we now offer delivery and collection within a 150 mile radius of Sheffield, with most processes returned next day. Customers and potential customers now have access to our updated web site (www.summitglow.co.uk) which gives details of our facilities and capacities and now gives users the ability to request quotations on-line, with a response on their desk within 24 hours. To complement our existing British Furnaces facilities a new Ipsen T7 sealed quench furnace with in-line wash and temper will be commissioned during November 2005. This furnace was selected over other furnace manufacturers due to its load capacity and straight through design, allowing large quantities of EN type material to be processed quickly and efficiently. Demand for this furnace is already high and we expect to be at full capacity on this unit by January 2006.
