PROSCAN SOFTWARE FOR REAL TIME DATA PROCESSING Processing data in real time removes the need to store and process unnecessary data. This is of great importance where continuous on-line measurements of up to 800,000 sub-micron measuring points per second can be taken. Any automatic production process is going to go through changes over time and these need to be monitored on a continuous basis. Proscan RT software lends itself to the on-line, non-contact measurement of surface roughness. The operator can, with ease, monitor any changes or trends, in real time, as the line is running.
