It is especially fast acting and will?rapidly remove rust from steel, returning the steel to white metal. Steel items should not be left unattended in Phos-Kleen A for long periods of time as the acid is strong enough to remove good metal once the rust is gone. We do not recommend Phos-Kleen A for cleaning out petrol or diesel tanks. Once dry neutralise Phos-Kleen A with Rustbuster Chlor-X solution or fresh water. Directions of Use Apply to surface rust by brush. Once applied, the Phos-Kleen A will react with the surface rust and fizz on the surface, rapidly removing rust and mill scale from steel. Items left to soak in Phos-Kleen A should be watched at all times. Phos-Kleen A will eat rust AND clean metal.. Neutralise Phos-Kleen A with Chlor-X Salt Remover (direct to surface formula) or fresh water. Cleaning Brushes and equipment used can be washed clean in fresh water. However once used in Phos-Kleen A we would not recommend using these brushes with any other liquid/paint. Safety Wear suitable protective clothing, apron, gloves, mask, eye and face protection.
