Enter Shikari – The Spark Machine

Enter Shikari’s fifth studio album, featuring their signature custom instrument ‘The machine’ as the iconic album artwork – quickly gathered a cult following after its release on 22 September 2017. Conceptualized by Modo design and realized by RENND Ltd – ‘Sparky’ as he affectionately became known rose to fame shortly after the release of his very own Instagram and Twitter pages. RENND were approached by the designers of Sparky – Modo design, shortly before the release of ‘The Spark’. With an impossibly short deadline and no definitive manufacturing pathway we were commissioned to build the spark machine from the ground up. By combining large format 3D printing, CNC machining and Laser cutting our manufacturing team was able to quickly build one of our most ambitious visual projects to date. ‘Sparky’ can be seen featured in many music videos available online.
