Visit rap at the Kent construction expo 2017
18/09/2017

For the fifth year in a row we’re exhibiting at the Kent Construction, Engineering & Design Expo in Maidstone.

The event, held on the Thursday 5th October, has sponsors and organisers such as KCC, Kent Invicta Chamber and Medway Council, making it one of the leading expos for construction trade companies in the South East. This provides the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow professionals of the industry and to share our knowledge with fellow fit out companies and potential clients. It’s safe to say we can’t wait!

What’s the event about?

The Kent Construction Expo is a free conference and exhibition with the largest concentration of construction professionals from within the South East, from insurance and security to commercial interior design.

With this event taking place at the Kent Events Centre, this will provide the industry with a place to learn, network and capitalise on the region’s major construction opportunities.

With the expo only costing some of your time and nothing else, it can greatly impact your business. Building new relationships with fellow businesses can be incredibly beneficial, so this opportunity is not one to be missed.

The event also includes speeches from Brian Blessed OBE, Professor Richard Scase, Sandi Rhys Jones OBE, Jim Mcclelland and many more.

Come and discuss your office fit out with Rap Interiors

With our Design Director Julie Anderson being heavily involved with the KCFG (a wing of the Kent Invicta Chamber), we realise that Kent is one of the best places to network with fellow construction businesses. We’re incredibly passionate about networking in Kent, which is why we’re attending our fifth consecutive meet the buyer event in these past years.

We’re also incredibly passionate about apprenticeships and how much young people can benefit the construction industry, and want to promote that to fellow businesses within construction.

There are plenty of talented young people who can greatly benefit from working for an interior design company and it’s important to allow them the necessary experience to grow in the workplace.

Why should you attend?

You will hear about major construction projects and investment opportunities across the South East and beyond, including key updates from Paul Spooner, Chief Executive of Ebbsfleet Development Corporation and David Testa, Chief Executive from London Paramount and also senior directors from the region.

The expo itself is up to date with the latest information on trends that are affecting those in the market including your supply chain, social impact, regeneration, housing, Eco, contracts, women in construction and skills.
