Honouring the 80th Anniversary of D-Day
Today, we at QFS Manufacturing Ltd are proud to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day by unveiling a special tribute—a Beacon Base that we have meticulously fabricated, now placed at the National Memorial Arboretum.
This base pays homage to the valiant efforts of the Allied forces during World War II, detailing the codenames of the beaches along the 50-mile stretch of the Normandy coast: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword.
Our team poured their dedication and respect into this project, ensuring that each element of the Beacon Base reflects the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for freedom. It is our small token of respect and remembrance for a monumental day in history.
We are humbled and honoured to contribute to the lasting memory of this historic event. Let’s take a moment to remember and reflect.
