Orange Propane Hose having 6,3mm bore fitted with G1/4 LH HCV and G1/4 LH inlet - Length 5m This 5m hose comes complete with left hand thread for use with MAP / propane or acetylene. The 1/4 BSP Hose Check Valve (HCV) is designed for use on small torches like the Model O, FN Lightweight and JetSoude type torches. The other end of the hose comes with 1/4 BSP left hand nut, this end screws onto the mini gas regulator or Flash Back Arrestor (FBA) when using regulator mounted FBAs. Our hoses are high quality, durable and importantly flexible. They come complete and have full British Standards Certification.Every hose check valve is checked to ensure it performs correctly before it is fitted to the hose. It is important to remember that acetylene can be used through propane hose but not the other way around. So if you are planning on only having one fuel hose but will be using both propane and acetylene at different times then make sure you use propane hose. The reasoning behind this is the neoprene lining which stops the rubber deteriorating with LPG based fuels.
