This recent installation by Newgate is one of many installations at new Tesco stores throughout the Uk. The illustration shows a 10 metre span Electric Type 1 Tracked Sliding Gate installed at the entrance to the delivery yard, Type 1 sliding gates are tracked for spans over 9.5 metres. Along with this gate is a 5.6 metre span Electric Swing Gate. They are manufactured to Tesco’s specification which include high level safety features, such as safety edges, reflective strips, fire alarm signal & yellow flashing lights.
