Coventry City Centre Award Winning Scheme

Macs Automated Bollards are proud to have been involved in the 2013 HMEA award winning regeneration of Coventry city centre, as featured in the latest copy of Construction Industry News magazine. The scheme, for which Coventry City Council won ‘Most Innovative Highway Authority Project / Scheme of the Year’, used a number of automatic rising bollards around Coventry city centre. The rising bollard systems around Broadgate were installed as part of the regeneration of the city centre, and have allowed for this area of the city to become more pedestrian friendly by restricting the access of vehicles and are in keeping with the holistic approach the council has taken with the improvements to the city centre.
