A Crew Member has died at Easter Ross Harbour - Blog

A man has died after being involved in an accident with a Forklift Truck. The man, thought to be from the Philippines, was a crew member of a boat docked at Easter Ross harbour as is thought to have been using the forklift prior to the accident to transport a container. The man became trapped underneath the forklift, and the emergency services were called. The HSE are liaising with the police on this matter. A spokesperson said “Sadly, one man has died as a result of the injuries he sustained. A full investigation has been launched.”
