Fothershield offer EMI shielding and thermal interference materials for use in electronic manufacturing. Beryllium copper (Be/Cu) fingerstrips, conductive fabric over foam gaskets, conductive elastomers, knitted gaskets and hollow metal mesh gaskets are used in enclosures, telecommunications devices, and around enclosure doors to protect against electromagnetic interference. Conductive coatings such as nickel, silver plated copper and silver paints are used to shield the inside of plastic enclosures. Conformal coatings are used to protect the PCB board from contaminants. Board level shielding cans protect individual circuits from electromagnetic interference on a PCB board. Standard cans or bespoke cans to customer specifications are available. Thermal interference materials such as thermal gap fillers and phase change materials fill air gaps and dissipate heat away from components to a heat sink. Thermally conductive greases and pastes are used to improve electrical conductivity and protect against corrosion and moisture. A variety of tapes include EMI shielding copper tapes and aluminium tapes, conductive fabric tapes, flexible and nearfield absorbers and wireless power charger absorbers. thermal transmission acrylic foam tapes. thermally conductive copper tape and thermally conductive aluminium tape, natural and synthetic graphite tapes. We also offer electrical tapes such as high temperature resistance tapes, insulation tapesl, anti-static tapes, PCB masking and electro-plating masking tapes. 3D printing in static dissipative materials allows rapid prototype production in areas where the build up of static is to be avoided.
