Electrical Tapes for the Electronics Industry

Fothershield’s new range of electrical tapes for the electronics industry have a wide range of uses. High temperature resistance tapes resist temperatures of up to 250 degrees C short term, and up to 180 degrees C for longer periods. Made from polyester or polyimide film with silicone adhesive, the tapes are commonly used in powder coating and electro-plating masking and splicing siliconised papers and films. Electrical insulation tapes give high strength, good chemical resistance as well as high temperature resistance. Ideal for masking terminals on PCB boards, high temperature clamping and insulating applications as well as wave soldering applications. Anti-static tapes help prevent the build up of unwanted static electricity which can attract dust and other contaminants. PCB masking tapes are ideal for wave soldering masking, as well as for powder coating and electro-plating masking, and for splicing siliconised papers and films, Electro-plating masking tapes are specifically designed for powder coating and electro-plating masking, and for splicing siliconised papers and films.
