The Midi Bike Box is the perfect solution for housing 4 of 5 cycles at offices, homes and in neighbourhoods. In many paces of work there are only a few staff who cycle, but it is important to be able to provide safe and secure storage. With the Midi Bike Box all this is possible with the addition of a little design flair as well! Design Midi Bike Box locker Operating like a huge bread-bin, the Midi Bike Box is a cylindrical design with an upward sliding, curved door at the front. Equipped with an exceptionally secure Euro profile cylinder deadlock, the Midi Bike Box is easy to use. Once unlocked, the door slides back into the rear casing, this is easily achieved even by a child, as the door is spring loaded so that its operation is assisted. Use for renting The Midi Bike Box is also ideal for use where renting is an issue. There is a choice of cylinder lock type such as the master key system, which enables landlords to manage the renting of cycle parking spaces in various ways. The standard comes with 5 keys plus a spare. Colour options Another great feature of the Midi Bike box is the number of colour options available. Manufactured from tough moulded polyester, the end panels are available in five standard colours with options for the front and rear casing to be different: * Grey RAL 7042 * Yellow RAL 1005 * Green RAL 6005 * Blue RAL 5010 * Red RAL 3011 - however for orders of 20 or more any of the 192 RAL colours can be used. The colours are applied in pairs (left and right) but in any combinations to both the rear casing and the sliding door. To maintain the integrity of the security, the clear window panels are manufactured from robust clear polycarbonate sheets. Additionally the supporting steel structure is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 as standard, but can be powder coated in any of the 192 colours of the RAL colour register, if you really wish to make a statement! All fixings are stainless steel. Maintenance With moving parts and clear sheets, the Midi Bike Box does have some maintenance requirements, specifically giving the plastic parts a wash down with soapy water plus oiling the lock and the moving parts. There is a small gap all around, underneath the bike box so that the street can be cleaned with a hose pipe if required whilst restricting access to debris, leaves etc.
