We are currently working alongside an established and growing utilities company and have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Support Manager to take on overall responsibility for the Operational Support elements of all constructed projects within the South East region. These include: Program management Planning and scheduling Notifications NRSWA & TMAj Job pack production Closure and process implementation. Excellent customer care principles are required to ensure complete customer satisfaction to aid future and repeat business. Key tasks undertaken as part of this Planning and Support Manager role: Responsibility for the Operational Support Elements of all constructed projects. Day-to-Day Management of a multi skilled Operational Support Team. Administration Planning & Scheduling Job Card Management and Job Pack Production Closure of completed Job Packs Office Management Process implementation. Monthly and quarterly reports * Your department is responsible for providing the required support to the Project Managers and to the Operations Team to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. * The role is a Management Role and you will be required too: Mentor and motivate your direct reports to support the company by achieving or surpassing regional goals. Conduct periodic performance evaluations to ensure that your team is on the right path to achieving individual targets and contributing to the overall regional and company performance. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Understanding of the planning and scheduling process that support a Utility Operation An excellent understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel and Word) Excellent organisational planning and time management skills. Experience Managing a Team and ability to train and mentor Logical thinking with creative problem solving ability. Ability to develop good relationships with clients and clients representatives Including architects, consultants and site managers Attention to detail Understanding of budget control Desirable qualifications, skills and experience: Degree Level Educated Experience of Programme Management Ability to simultaneously control various factions.
