FlexoTech International Print & Innovations Awards

The 2009 FlexoTech International Print & Innovations Awards is now open for entries, the 11th competition staged by the magazine and sponsored by leading companies in the industry. There are 15 categories this year and although the closing date for entries is July 17, printers seeking a nomination should enter their work as soon as possible. Entry is free of charge for up to five entries per category and each entry must be accompanied by a separate form, which can be photocopied if necessary. The categories include label, flexible packaging, laminated substrates, sacks and post and preprint corrugated with awards also for UV flexo, combination and digital printing. There are also innovation and an environment award for suppliers. Entries will be judged by an international panel on register, sharpness, trapping, reproduction and innovation. The awards will culminate in a gala black tie dinner at which the trophies will be presented to be held at the Hilton London Metropole in London on October 14.
