Please expect a longer than usual lead time (the polished version can take up to 16 weeks). The Emeco 1006 Navy chair was originally commissioned by the US Navy for use on submarines in 1944. The now iconic Navy chair has been in continuous production ever since. The counter stool version of the Navy is made by hand and goes through a 77 step process. The skilled Emeco craftsmen take recycled aluminium, hand form it and weld it - then temper it for strength. Finally, the stool is anodised for a durable finish.
